The City of Bend Utility Department is currently seeking a Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Operations Supervisor for a multi-functional role in an organization that thrives on collaboration, vigor and every-changing challenges. The position requires a self-motivated leader that brings organization, positive energy, and motivation for growth while also keeping focus on the broader dynamic goals for the wastewater treatment plant.
Organizes and directs the Operation and Maintenance functions at the Water Reclamation Facility to achieve short and medium term goals. Coordinates activities essential for the efficient, safe and continuous operation of the plant. Directly supervises an Operations and Maintenance staff of 9-12 personnel. Reports directly to the Water Reclamation Facility Manager, working in collaboration to efficiently manage current and future capital improvement projects at the plant.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated supervisory experience in a union environment, significant process management expertise in several phases of treatment, and demonstrable experience leading change management in a wastewater utility setting.
