We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analytics Manager.
Provide analytical support on performance management information, offshoring and migration of Management Information System and working with business partners to deliver the project objectives. The role is positioned as the subject matter expert relating to sales metrics for frontline staff.
The jobholder must be accredited with knowledge to diagnose data and analyze key trends, opportunities and threats, identify performance gaps that are relevant to business in order to ensure an effective delivery.
Mastering analytic software such as SAS, COGNOS and SPSS to provide data analytics or portfolio management analysis or business monitoring Management Information.
Assist in Big Data project and provide support to Big Data implementation plan, includes provide insight of business data use cases.
Collaborate with local and offshore delivery centers, to ensure that scorecards are timely produced and delivered across segments and team levels.
Review existing logistics or Information Technology projects and consolidate user requirement, this includes collaboration with different project stakeholders, build close rapport, anticipate needs, propose solutions and design User Acceptance test scenario or prepare test data.
Coach other junior colleagues to improve production efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
Handle business data and sensitive information with care and in compliance with HSBC standards.
University degree in a relevant discipline
Sound knowledge in statistical software language programming skills, for example SAS, COGNOS, SPSS, and Structured Query Language
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Access
With knowledge in Commercial Banking industry
Proactive, customer driven approach, with a strong analytical skills
Good communication skills in English and Chinese
Adaptable and flexible, able to respond quickly to changing priorities
