Posting Summary: The Department of Pediatrics' Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Virginia and University of Virginia Children's Hospital seeks candidates for a full-time pediatrician at the Associate Professor or Professor level. Salary, rank, and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified in pediatrics. The incumbent will see patients and mentor trainees in our general pediatric ambulatory clinics. All division members share call and weekend/holiday coverage of the general pediatric services. The position requires outstanding clinical and teaching skills and experience necessary to precept residents and medical students. There are also exciting opportunities in the Division's growing research, advocacy, and quality improvement activities.
