The Channel & Territory Account Manager is responsible for creating sales and development priorities and executing solutions through channel partners in a designated territory. Duties include channel performance management, sales growth and business development of Rockwell Automation authorized distributors; as well as formulating business strategies and plans to grow overall sales and market share. The Channel & Territory Account Manager is responsible for coordinating activities and resource utilization with others in the sales organization while implementing and measuring all Rockwell Automation channel commercial programs.
The Channel Sales Manager will lead and motivate our distributor partner through all levels of their organization.
Manages development of assigned distributors and their performance
Analyzes territory data and creates strategy to access and develop business in growth markets
Collaborates with distributor to maximize performance and execute required programs for growth.
Facilitates the implementation of new product launches and promotional programs through the direction and motivation of all channel team resources, including the distributor team
Takes an active role in coaching the distributor personnel and evaluating their competency in support of Rockwell Automation products and services.
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Additional business related degree/experience preferred.
3 or more years of successful sales experience in technical sales, distributor, integrator or engineering firm, and/or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program.
Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant including VPs, plant engineers and OEM machine builders.
Experience working with all levels of Distributor/SI organization including Owners, VPs, Directors and Managers in different areas such as Sales, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, etc.
Valid driver's license.
Advanced English as second lenguage.
Ability for domestic travel greater than 50% of time. Position located in Antofagasta.
