Epic Community Connect Technical Account Manager manages technical projects having a defined beginning and end. Incumbent manages the project's framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation through completion.
Organizes and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced technical project management professional with a full understanding of project management frameworks and methods, relevant policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues. Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
Manages projects of diverse scope, size, impact, and budget and/or project team size. Applies professional project management and IT concepts and department/unit and campus, medical center or Office of the President policies and procedures to manage complex projects. Implements the project management process in support of products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
Monitors and reports on project progress from initiation through delivery, including oversight of system integration, project and campus, medical center or Office of the President communications, interaction with vendors and managing risk. Creates project proposals and reports. Assembles and directs moderate to large project teams, designs project plans and schedules and monitors budget and resources. Directs the activities of the project with the goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.
A Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
Professional experience and proven success managing technical projects.
Requires effective communication and organization skills.
Must be flexible to work variable hours & locations based on business needs.
A driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required.
Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
