full-time position with CPA - Finance; 37.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday
Report to Associate Director of CPA Finance and is responsible for providing a wide variety of value added financial services. With an objective of achieving a thorough understanding of practice economics, work with various personnel within the department to produce financial/billing operation reports related to but not limited to revenue stream, variance reporting, physician productivity, forecasting, trending, and any ad hoc request.
Compile, prepare and maintain actual vs. budget variance files.
Produce CPA monthly billing reports for all 21 clinical departments.
Assist in researching variances.
Assist in preparation of CPA's annual revenue budget and incentive target.
Assist in updating/preparing Departmental dashboard and executive summary
As assigned, generate and distribute monthly reports and create new reports to improve monitoring of revenues/expenses within the Department.
Work requires competency to work with large amount of data and handle high volumes reports with deadlines each month.
Serve as back-up for other senior financial analysts.
Demonstrate ability for self-direction and initiation, as well as, ability to work independently and as part of a team, to address problems/tasks.
Must be organized and able to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet various deadlines.
Function as team player and work to maintain harmonious working relationships with coworkers and peers.
Recognize where supervisor and coworkers need assistance and take initiative to help.
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field. Three years progressively responsible related financial/accounting experience. Additional experience may substitute for education. Additional graduate level education may substitute for experience.
Accuracy, attention to details, reliability, and having a sense of urgency is critical for the success of this position. Strong computer literacy is a must, including skills in spreadsheets (pivot table, vlookup, Macro etc.), Database (Access). Experience with database manipulation, Cognos 10 reporting system and advanced financial analysis and decision support tools is a plus. Quick learner, ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with all levels of staff.
