The Employee Wellness Program is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the health and well-being of employees at our center. In recognizing diversity of their needs, the program offers free resources in the areas of nutrition & weight management, exercise & fitness and mental health/stress management support. Additionally, the program also provides employees with opportunities to participate in restorative activities/events geared towards increasing their morale and sense of community.
Working closely with the MSK Wellness Program Manager, Director of Food and Nutrition, and Clinical Nutrition Manager of Food and Nutrition, you will:
- Design, implement, and evaluate workplace wellness programs related to nutrition and a healthy food environment.
- Develop, market, and distribute nutrition related health education information.
- Counsel employees and complete comprehensive nutrition assessments.
- Deliver monthly nutrition lectures, webinars, and food demonstrations
- Work with Food and Nutrition department staff to develop and implement various wellness initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison for Nutrition/Weight Management vendors e.g. Weight Watchers
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Nutrition or related field; Masters in Clinical Nutrition or Public Health preferred.
A minimum of 1-3 years of worksite wellness related experience.
Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Certified Dietitian Nutritionist required.
Strong interest in worksite health and wellness.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to think independently and creatively to develop successful wellness activities and programs.
Location: 222 E 70th Street, with flexibility to travel to regional sites as needed.
