The Masters School seeks to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional to serve as the Director of Alumnae/i Engagement in its Advancement Office.
The Masters School (www.mastersny.org) is a premier coed day and boarding school that engages 5th – 12th grade students with a challenging academic program in a welcoming learning environment. Located on 96 picturesque acres overlooking the Hudson River, The Masters School community takes advantage of both its access to the tri-state area and its proximity to the rich cultural and educational magnet that is New York City. Students benefit from the resources, diversity and activities of Masters 7-day campus and accessible, talented faculty and staff. From our exceptional academics and outstanding visual and performing arts program to our championship athletic teams, the Masters learning experience prepares students for success in college, career and life.
The Masters School celebrates active participation, deep understanding, and meaningful connection. A community of diverse individuals, we gather to learn, to strive, to dare, to do – to be a power for good in the world.
As we enter a $100 million capital campaign, the Alumnae/i Engagement team will encourage strong, life-long connections with the School, while shaping the future of our alumnae/i program. Under the leadership of the Director of Development and Engagement Programs, the Alumnae/i Director will identify and mobilize regional leadership, create meaningful programming on and off campus, foster the strategic planning process and growth of a sustainable Alumnae/i Association, and serve as the lead on all communications and engagement activities for our 6,000 diverse and accomplished graduates.
In carrying out this role, the Director will work closely with colleagues in the Advancement and Communications Offices, the Dobbs Alumnae/i Association Board, the Board of Trustees, students and faculty. The Director will develop a keen understanding of the School’s 140-year history and traditions, as well as create creative and meaningful ways to connect alumnae/i with the School.
