Advertised Summary Job Description: Position Description: Reporting to Director, Global Treasury Operations and Deputy Treasurer, the position is responsible for supporting the daily treasury activities including assisting with various cash and debt management processes including the support of the University's merchant account acceptance program and other key functions within the Treasury group. The responsibilities of the role may vary depending on need within the group; however, on a day to day basis the position is primarily focused on the management of the merchant account program, daily cash management activities, debt compliance activities and special projects.
Global Treasury Operations: ?Support the day to day operational requirements of CU credit card merchant account acceptance program and cash management processing, including compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulations. ?Review requests for new credit card merchant account applications and updates to current merchant accounts; manage inventory and database of merchant accounts; manage online security administration; support ongoing and annual merchant compliance efforts; liaise with schools and departments. ?Process daily wire and account transfers, serve as primary back up to the Manager, Global Treasury Operations to execute daily cash management functions including daily cash position, reconciliation of prior day account activity, update Treasury Management System accounts and GL postings, and serve as a key initial contact for the Global Treasury Operations team. ?Assist with maintenance of all domestic and global bank accounts. ?Manage the online data security administration for department's access to the university's payment gateways and payment processors and bank systems. ?Keep abreast of PCI DSS Compliance and cash management best practices. ?Perform other related duties as assigned.
Capital Planning: Provide functional back-up for the Assistant Director, Bond Issuance and Compliance for the following activities: ?Verify debt-related payments of principal, interest and fees on all outstanding bond issues, swap payments, lines of credit fees, rating agency fees and any other debt related payments. ?Verify and submit requisitions to the Dormitory Authority for reimbursement of eligible project expenditures with bond proceeds. ?Update Master Loan schedule on a monthly basis and as needed for new financing transactions. ?Prepare quarterly liquidity reports for rating agencies. ?Prepare weekly variable rate debt report.
Provide functional back-up for Housing Assistance Program for the following activities: ?Update Master Loan file on an ongoing basis for new loans and or restructuring of existing loans. ?Provide scenario analysis for new loans and mortgages.
Other duties as assigned.
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) or the equivalent with at least two years related experience in finance, accounting or treasury field required.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus have the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of University departments. Strong organizational skills required, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. The successful candidate must have a passion for excellent customer service and commitment to exceptional quality, and take pride in their work product.
