Supervises card office applications, systems, interfaces and special projects that involve the GWorld One Card system and carding operations.,
Provides programming, reporting and other support to the GWorld operation and integrated services, and represents the GWorld Card Office at official campus functions and meetings.,
Works with the Division of Information (DIT) Physical Security Manager and the Division of Operations to ensure that all projects meet established milestones and stay within budget. Works closely with the GWorld leadership team on preparing and validating billable hours charged by GWorld and other University employees and contractors to recover costs from third parties.,
Assists the GWorld Operations team on system upgrades, software upgrades, network infrastructure needs, policy changes, new technologies, training opportunities and other steps necessary to maintain the highest levels of physical and system security.,
Participates in strategic initiatives led by the GWorld leadership team such as improving systems, procedure documentation, automating workflow practices, researching new technologies, etc.,
Supervises and conducts analysis on cardholder usage activity (financial and physical), systems stability, integration opportunities, return on investment and cost-saving measures as they relate to the operations of the card program.
Is available on an on-call basis in case of system emergencies and any issues involving the safety or our campus and cardholders.
Manages the GWorld Card Program Operations, in the absence of the Director, in a manner consistent with maximizing revenues, minimizing costs and providing benchmarked levels of customer service to the University community.,
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Proficiency in developing reports, both financial and statistical, spreadsheets, and work process documentation is preferred.
Previous supervisory experience is desired.
Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
Technically adept and ability to manage multi-range projects.
Strong communication skills, both orally and verbally, and posses the ability to work independently as the need arises.
Knowledge of SQL scripting, databases, spreadsheets and access control technologies are strongly desired.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
