The successful candidate is expected to collaborate in ongoing and developing research with School of Medicine faculty and Massey Cancer Center researchers as well as to build the peer-reviewed research portfolio in the Division of General Internal Medicine.
Research – This position is responsible for research related activities including, but not limited to, research design and implementation, preparation of grant proposals to both intramural and extramural funding sources, both collaborating on and leading manuscript development for submissions to peer-review journals.
Track record of scientific achievement reflected by recent publications. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Research training as reflected by a PhD or other relevant degree and/or experience preferred. Area of expertise in one of the following is strongly preferred: health services/outcomes research, cancer control, network analysis, operations research, disparities in health care.
