The Moral Psychology Research Laboratory and the Moral Cognition laboratory in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University are searching for a full-time (35 weekly hours) Lab Manager and Research Assistant (RA). Supporting the Principal Investigators (PIs) Fiery Cushman and Joshua Greene, the selected candidate will work closely with the PIs, and other lab members, to manage several experimental and data analysis projects. The selected candidate will also be responsible for recruiting subjects, collecting data, performing statistical analyses, providing administrative support, assisting with lab coordination, and related job duties as required.

Background in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field and previous research experience is required.
The RA must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and must demonstrate the ability to work independently. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and enjoy the challenges of a demanding workload involving multiple research projects. Excellent technical and computer skills preferred. Ability to program in R and Matlab would be a plus. Candidates should also have strong communication abilities to interface between the PIs and collaborators. A high premium will be placed on candidates with demonstrable ability to be highly organized, professional, and able to work both independently and with others in a high-paced research environment. Access will be offered to independent research, attending seminars and colloquia, and other training that would prepare the candidate for graduate school in psychology or a related field.
