FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTThe Department of Pathobiology at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education is searching for a Clinical Pathologist. The appointment will be in the title of Medical Distinguished Lecturer. Distinguished Lecturers are experienced practitioners or teachers who hold a full-time, non-tenure track position with a maximum appointment period of seven years, subject to annual reappointment.General duties are: * Coordinate and teach pathology to medical students in an integrated curriculum. * Share responsibility for committee and department assignments; performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned * Participate in additional school activities as required.QUALIFICATIONSM.D. and/or Ph.D. degree in Pathology. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience (minimum 3 years) teaching pathology to medical students. The successful applicant must demonstrate leadership skills and a strong commitment to teaching and will be expected to make significant contributions to innovation in pathology instruction. Of particular interest are candidates capable of adapting and applying new communication and technology tools to meet the needs of 21st Century students.
