Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow within Surgical Oncology department at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Conducts research investigation into the effects of cancer vaccines in murine models of pancreatic cancer under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
Performs molecular, cell biological and animal laboratory research experiments under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator.
Analyzes data and prepares data for presentation at local and national meetings.
Drafts written reports for inclusion in manuscripts and grant proposals.
Home Location Campus: Downtown New Brunswick
Background in cancer biology research, preferred.
Prior experience with immune studies and/or flow cytometry a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
