Responsibilities Successful candidate will provide counseling, support, crisis intervention and other psycho-social services to patients and their families in an acute care setting. Provides clinical intervention for individual, family and groups. Assists patients through advocacy procedures. Individual should be comfortable w/substance abuse counseling, understand Mass-health eligibility requirements, trauma, abuse and neglect (child, elder, disabled) and comfortable working around end of life/hospice discussion. Qualifications Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Skilled in the areas of psycho-social assessment, treatment/intervention and coordination of care. Able to provide a variety of treatment modalities; including individual, couples, group and family therapy. Utilizes a theoretical base of knowledge to assess, diagnose, formulate interventions and evaluate clinical outcomes. Candidate should be able to prioritize and manage caseload within a fast paced multi-disciplinary setting.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Master?s School of Social Work. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Currently licensed either at the LICSW or LCSW level by the Massachusetts Board of Licensure for Social Work. Shift DAYS-40 hours
