Reporting to the New Business Manager, the Financial Advisor will actively reach out to the firm's existing Dreyfus client base in order to expand relationships. The individual in this sales role will work directly with retail clients to provide investment advice and successfully onboard new clients.
The Financial Advisor will need to be energetic, self-motivated, and work well under time constraints. He or she must also possess a strong desire to work in an outbound sales environment and be driven by sales results. The individual in this role must have a strong analytical aptitude and demonstrate sound judgment in dealing with clientele. He or she must possess exceptional technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Develop, establish and maintain client relationships
- Complete outbound calls to existing client base in order to provide investment advice
- Develop relationships with the clients in order to increase wallet share
- Provide exceptional service to high net worth client base
- BA/BS Degree
- At least 2 years of business development experience in the financial services industry
- Must hold series 7 and 63 licenses
- Experience selling mutual funds and managed accounts
