Special skills and knowledge (required & preferred):
Knowledge of SAP; Microsoft Office: Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must be: a) sensitive to the nature of the work and the confidentiality of study participants, b) flexible and comfortable working with men who have sex with men, and in a diverse office environment, and c) a willing, positive worker, able to take direction. The successful candidate will be required to pass
Protection of Human Research Subjects and HIPAA certification classes , if not already done
Minimum required education and related work experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
Two years related experience. Prior experience serving as a Petty Cash custodian at Johns Hopkins is highly desirable as well as experience working on research projects, preferably dealing with HIV/AIDS.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
