Within the Futures Division of our Commodities and Financial Markets Group, the opportunity for a Risk Manager to join the business is now available. This newly-created role presents as an excellent opportunity for a risk, audit or accounting professional keen to move into a leading financial markets business. With a range of responsibility, you will be able to develop a capability across the following key business areas and specialisations:
Internal Controls Reviews
Financial analysis and management reporting
Regulatory Reporting and Capital
Operational risk management and providing "lessons learned" training
Developing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators for the business
Treasury and Liquidity Management
Business Continuity Planning
For this role, we would like you to hold a tertiary qualification in an Accounting. Finance or Business discipline. If you are CA qualified or working towards this recognition, then this will be highly-regarded, although not essential. Similarly, if you bring experience in exchange traded derivatives, the business will see this as valuable.
Given the diversity of the role, you will need demonstrate a stable and progressive career to date with at least 5 year's work experience within a Risk Management, Audit, Financial Services or Professional Services (Big 4) environment. Of particular importance, through your work to date, is to present with a level of competency in reviewing and implementing internal controls. More broadly, you will need to pay close attention to the detail, display an innovative work approach, enjoy working in a team environment and possess a natural ability to influence and build relationships with key and senior stakeholders.
