Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of children? As a part of Abilities United's multidisciplinary Therapy Clinic team you will support children and their families with direct one-on-one and/or small group Speech Therapy services. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with parents/caregivers, community stakeholders, and the other members of the multidisciplinary Therapy Clinic team while providing evidence-based best practice with the children and families they serve directly.
Provide onsite/offsite individual and/or small group Speech Therapy to children and young adults
Develop & implement effective treatment plans
Provide training to parents and professionals (group and individually)
Complete supplemental Speech Therapy based developmental assessments
Education: Minimum MA in speech therapy Experience: Min. 2 years working with young children and families Certification: Licensed Speech Therapist (state of California), Standard First Aid & CPR Other: Communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing; project a professional and positive image at all times. Spanish/English Bilingual strongly preferred. Must have valid driver's license, automobile liability insurance and clean DMV record.
