Reporting to the Associate Director for Employer Relations, coordinate the administration of the Yawkey Internship Program. This includes developing content for promotion of the program to students, supporting students from the selection process through the completion of the internships, and planning and implementing internship orientations and additional career development events. Annually prepare templates for applications, learning contracts, evaluations and reflective essays. Monitor student progress and employer relationships to ensure strong, educational internship experiences. Coordinate an annual assessment of the program and make recommendations for enhancements, as needed. Draft a detailed annual program report for the Yawkey Foundation. As a member of the Employer Relations Team, participate in office and campus-wide activities and events particularly as it relates to student access to internship opportunities.
Salary: Grade 72
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in higher education or related field preferred. Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), customer service and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of employer relations and the job and internship search process preferred. Knowledge of student development theory career development and student programming a plus. One to three years of related work experience and expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
