Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for formulating and implementing a plan to integrate UHCS clinical processes with optimal patient experience and service from the standpoint of the student. This position informs UHCS policy and programming within the scope of clinical licensure and acculturates the staff to student needs, stressors and the university experience. Participates in formulating and monitoring UHCS satisfaction monitoring and feedback. Incorporates survey, direct feedback and incident reporting data into the improvement of student clinical and administrative processes.
This position is responsible for designing and implementing standards for clear articulation of expectations of the delivery of UHCS services and alignment of student experience with UHCS community messaging.
The individual in this position will provide consultation and assistance on complex clinical / administrative student challenges, including those that involve any combination of academic, family, financial, medical, behavioral health, conduct, legal, travel or others concerns.
This position is responsible for provision of clinical service and supervision in the clinical specialty consistent with training and licensure.
This individual will have responsibility for coordinating and providing leadership for services within UHCS for sexual assault prevention, response, programming, training and education. The person in this position is also responsible for providing clinical consultation to other violence and sexual assault-related staff and departments in the University, as appropriate.
This position plays a critical role in aligning the delivery of our clinical and administrative services with the highest standards of customer service and building a culture of attention to student experience.
RN, LMHC, psychologist or similar degree with 3-5 years experience as clinician.
Active Licensure consistent with clinical degree.
Three to five years experience in providing direct college student health care.
Three to five years experience in providing administrative management in a health care setting preferred.
Demonstrated skills in program planning and evaluation.
Demonstrated skills in training and supervision in a health care setting.
Three to five years experience in customer service training preferred.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with current social media communication.
Demonstrated ability to motivate other individuals, with emphasis on ability to implement change in a positive manner.
Demonstrated ease and effectiveness in functioning in a highly diverse and inclusive work setting. Ability to supervise, collaborate with and report to personnel and provide service to students of differing ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation and identity, religious faith, nationality, age, abilities and political belief.
Demonstrated expertise in providing and consulting in sexual response prevention, education and treatment.
