The Department of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences (HPSS) at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) invites applications for a full-time one-year term appointment starting in fall of 2017.

Job Qualifications Required:
The suitable candidate will have undergraduate teaching experience and a broad background in race relations in America and American government and political systems. A PhD by start date in American Studies, Political Science, History, Sociology, or other relevant interdisciplinary degree is required.
