To accomplish this, you need to have attended a state approved Qualified Medication Administration Person course and received a certificate. As a resident assistant, you are the person who knows our Elders most and are responsible for ensuring their needs are met based on their preferences. In some cases, you are their voice and closest friend. You help our Elders become familiar with our community. Eliminating the plagues of loneliness, helplessness and boredom motivate you to work with the whole care partner team to identify ways to deepen relationships, create meaning, and aide the Elders in being the decision makers in their lives. You are part of a care partner team responsible for creating a home for Elders here in our community.
