Your team You'll be working in the Global Wholesale Client Coverage team. The team is supporting the growth strategy of Asset Management's Wholesale business across the five distribution regions Switzerland, EMEA, The Americas and APAC (ex-Japan) and Japan with resources across the globe. The main goal of the role will be to lead/oversee the execution of the global wholesale strategy and help to design and implement a consistent offering eco-system across all regions and within Wholesale Client Coverage. You will be based either in Zurich or Hong Kong you will be an integral part of the global Operating Office for Wholesale.
Your experience and skills You have: – a university degree in economics / business administration (or related field) – minimum 1-3 years of consulting / strategy experience (or similar experience) – strong understanding of the asset management industry, experience & understanding of multiple asset classes (in particular alternatives) – high level of analytic and numerical skills – experience in working within cross-functional working groups – good judgment, passion for efficient/professional delivery of solutions and resolutions and the ability to influence and manage stakeholder expectations. – excellent communication skills including writing, presentation and interpersonal – project management skills
You are: – a strategic thinker with a passion for working with management to develop and execute on the plan for building UBS' wholesale asset management business – competent in MS Office Excel and/or Access, and PowerPoint is required – a strong a communicator both written and verbal, and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels – an excellent communicator, with great presentation skills – known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks – fluent in English, additional languages are a distinct advantage
