The College of Business at Ohio University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance (one-year appointment). Appointments begin August 2017. A Ph.D. in Finance or a related field is required. Applicants at the ABD stage presently or by the start date will be considered. Salaries for the one-year appointment are competitive commensurate with either ABD status or Ph.D. completed.
The Finance Department offers excellent research resources and support in addition to a variety of teaching opportunities. Ohio University has WRDS access to CRSP, Compustat, OptionMetrics, and Execucomp as well as access to SDC M&A, Thomson Reuters Analyst Reports, Bloomberg, Factset, and Morningstar. Our faculty has published in Journal of Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Banking & Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Review of Asset Pricing Studies.
