Partners with team and leadership in the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs including base pay,
special and premium pay plans and bonus plans covering a wide range of exempt and non-exempt positions. Consults with internal
clients regarding the creation or modification of pay policies and practices. Conducts and participates in compensation surveys,
analyzes market data, and oversees the job description process and their placement within the pay structure.
High School Degree or GED required
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years direct compensation experience in lieu of degree required
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three years of related experience (compensation, finance, analytics)
Direct compensation experience strongly preferred
Healthcare experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to the Department of Labor. Able to work with a variety of computer applications i.e. excel,
Microsoft word, access.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
POSITION DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE % OF TIME)
Consult with internal clients regarding the design or modification of pay practices and policies, FLSA issues, and job evaluation and design
requests, and recommend the most effective compensation approach based on market research/analysis and needs of the business.
Coordinate understanding and decision-making regarding new or modified policies prior to implementation to ensure that cross system
equity issues are addressed.
Participate in compensation surveys, initiate custom surveys when necessary and maintain a survey database that provides a
consistent approach to market pricing that can be used by all the facilities in the company.
Manage compensation projects for the system as the lead.
Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to10lbs force occasionally)
