The Revenue Integrity Administrator provides direct support to the Revenue Integrity Manager and Revenue Integrity Specialists. In this position, the RI Administrator must be able to take direction and process requests from a team of professionals. This position assists with and supports Revenue Integrity Specialists with data bases as well as assisting with clinical charge audits and other projects as assigned. RI Administrator supports the RI Specialists in verifying accuracy of charges, charge capture, data verification and compliance. The Revenue Integrity Administrator also assists with processing, analyzing, and data verification of the charge description master (CDM).
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field or 5 years related experience.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years' experience working with databases, spreadsheets and other reports. 3 years' experience in an acute care or physician office audit setting preferred. Knowledge and understanding of HCPCS/CPT-4 and revenue coding Prior experience in a acute care/physician revenue management setting is highly desired/preferred.
Supply Chain experience preferred.
Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )
Provides direct analysis support for the Revenue Integrity team navigating through large data bases and related spreadsheets.*
Skilled in the use of Revenue Integrity Department software to help facilitate effective ongoing CDM management and maintenance requests.*
Supports the Revenue Integrity team with clinical audits to ensure the integrity of charges and compliance related to charge captures with minimal auidance.*
Assists in implementing remediation as necessary in a timely manner.*
Participates in the ongoing support to the Revenue Integrity Specialist (s) in the maintenance of the Centura Health hospital and clinic CDMs.*
Participates in developing and maintaining a process to evaluate and implement necessary changes to the standard CDM.*
Solves complex problems and collaborates with others existing and new solutions.*
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve programs, products or services regarding established policies, naming conventions and abbreviations.*
Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation for all assigned responsibilities.*
Assists with a variety of charge master related projects.*
Acts as a resource for junior Revenue colleagues.*
