Currently our Western Colorado office, an MAI managed firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced commercial real estate appraiser/trainee to service the Mountain and Western Slope regions of Colorado. This position includes intensive use of Microsoft software, especially Word and Excel, so familiarity with both is a necessity. College degree (BS or BA) required and commercial real estate appraisal experience preferred. We are seeking a certified general licensed appraiser, but will consider applicants that are actively pursuing their certified general appraisal license.
As a staff appraiser with Valbridge Property Advisors | Mountain West you will have access to a national database, local MLS’s and national Costar. We offer a highly competitive fee split (commensurate with experience), benefits and potential for research analyst support. In this position the appraiser will appraise several commercial real estate property types in markets throughout the mountain and western slope regions of Colorado. This position offers significant flexibility with a team oriented environment.
Our office is located in Basalt, CO, approximately 20 minutes from the Aspen Ski Area and surrounded by numerous other recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, fishing, and rafting. Our region includes market areas such as Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Durango, Grand Junction and Steamboat Springs. We offer significant flexibility and incentives (such as an Aspen four-mountain ski pass) for our employees to ensure that employees are able to enjoy the beautiful place that we live.
