The Financial Analyst II participates in all aspects of operational and capital budgets, assists senior management in the long-term financial planning process, develops proformas for proposed ventures, and provides in-depth analysis of primary drivers of volume, revenue, and expense. Duties also include routine and ad hoc reporting, as well as various benchmarking, database management support. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills and be capable of communicating with various levels of management.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor`s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
Work Experience (Years and Area): 3+ years financial analysis experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Other Requirements: Knowledge of JCAHO, State, Medicare/ Medicaid, and other external regulatory agencies. Proficient with financial accounting, budgeting, cost accounting/reporting, and financial statistical reporting. Data analytics and manipulation of multiple databases is required. Knowledge of benchmark analysis, productivity reporting and delivery of healthcare services. Ability to analyze, report, and develop recommendations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include presentation skills. Reasoning skills and ability to articulate logic behind decisions. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and meet deliverables. Problem solving skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Customer service skills. Proficient in all MS Office applications; demonstrated advanced functionality of Excel and Access. Knowledge of Allscripts EPSi Budget Manager and Kaufman Hall ENUFF Advisor software packages highly preferred.
