One individual needed for the period from June 1, 2017 through August 15, 2017 to support the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) program clinic and research activities. This job will involve data entry, analysis, generation of graphics, and medical chart scanning. A part of the job will be the support of manuscript preparation, including literature searches, annotated bibliographies, table preparation, references, cover letters and author documents. The range of duties includes, but is not limited to: conducting literature reviews, generating summary statistics, and assisting with manuscript and grant proposal preparation, other administrative tasks. Ideal candidate identified.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize knowledge of the clinical features of chronic fatigue syndrome to help analyze, organize, and scan clinic charts. (50%)
Analyse database/spreadsheet data utilizing Excel, SPSS or similar software applications. May use statistical software packages. (20%)
Conduct up-to-date, theoretically grounded literature searches, compile annotated bibliographies, write summaries of literature, assist with manuscript, abstract, and grant proposal preparation, and maintenance of references.(10%)
Developing data collection instruments for future studies.(10%)
Provide summary and descriptive statistics from data collected using Excel, Access, SPSS or other statistical software applications and create results tables for manuscripts and grant submissions.(10%)
