Health Science Administration (HSA) is developing a shared services administrative model to gain efficiency, implement best practices and direct resources to mission-focused activities. The strategic goal is to provide outstanding support for the University mission of teaching, research and service. This model will employ an extensive shared services commitment, allowing HSA units to focus their resources on supporting customers. This shared services model will include appropriate elements of administration, financial transactions, and IT local support as well as other activities as opportunities arise.

The Health Sciences Administration Shared Service Center (HSASSC) will integrate with other campus departments to develop and implement an effective, efficient administrative model which may serve as an enterprise model.
The Health Sciences Administration Shared Service Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager/Program Operations Specialist to play a key role in providing unified support to our customers throughout the institution.
This role will coordinate with the HSA Shared Services leadership to develop and implement project plans, ensure timely completion of deliverables and coordinate analysis of business processes and service management outcomes. The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for implementation and stabilization of the HSA Shared Services model. Additional responsibilities will include managing incorporation of new capacity over time, monitoring and evaluating the roadmap, directing change request and change control processes and collaborating with stakeholders in support of a continual improvement framework. The Project Manager will also serve as a bridge to necessary campus offices to ensure integration of the HSA Shared Services within the University. The quality and timeliness of HSA Shared Services deliverables, the effectiveness of the shared services design and the strength of the associated service management framework will directly impact HSA Shared Services' ability to ensure the integrity of data and transactional outcomes.
Manage HSA Shared Services project, including planning, cross-team coordination objective setting, testing, implementation and long term sustaining
Create and maintain detailed work plans in support of HSA Shared Services deliverables
Proactively identify potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles which may hinder successful completion of deliverables and achievement of project goals
Monitor and evaluate the HSA Shared Services roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed of scheduled updates and framing associated decision points
Manage HSA Shared Services change request and change control processes, including identification of improvement opportunities
Lead coordination of testing activities in conjunction with HSA Shared Services releases and the introduction of new/modified functionality
Provide project management support for all major scheduled and ad-hoc HAS Shared Services functionality roll-outs/activities, including planning and coordination of change management and communications
Ensure necessary coordination and/or integration with other University offices to support efficient, effective HSA Shared Services operations
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
Coordinate closely with resources across Health Sciences Administration units and other Campus areas to understand processes, issues and enhancement opportunities
Guide monitoring and evaluate business process results, including timeliness, accuracy and end-user inquiries
Manage the HSA Shared Services metrics and assist in evaluating results, ensuring that outcomes are efficient, effective and yield the highest quality user experiences
Create periodic reports and presentations for HSA Shared Services leadership to understand trends and enhancement opportunities
Create suitable dashboards to update University and participating unit leadership on progress and operational status
HSA Shared Services Support
Support HSA Shared Services knowledge management processes, including identification and verification of additions/changes to the working repository of knowledge content
Support HSA Shared Services training activities, including development and verification of relevant content
Support HSA Shared Services communication of major activities, enhancements/updates and known issues
Support upkeep of key organizational documentation

| Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science or related areas, with a minimum of four to five years of applicable experience |
Professional experience in effective management of business or technical projects
Ability to utilize disciplined project management methodologies and tools, such as project management systems, issue tracking, risk management, and requirements management systems; ability to develop efficient project procedures and quality control methods
Demonstrable leadership experience, including supervision of diverse resources in a deadline-driven environment and cultivation of trust, strong collaboration and professional development on a high-performing team
Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers and key process stakeholders
Experience using a proactive continual improvement/iterative approach to meet HR and Payroll process design requirements, assimilating stakeholder feedback and refining operational frameworks on an ongoing basis
