The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry is seeking a faculty member to fill a position in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. The position is a 100% benefit eligible, full time (12 month), tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. We offer an energetic, collaborative and supportive research environment and the candidate will be expected to develop an independent, extramural funded research program in mineralized oral tissues. Also, there are numerous opportunities to establish collaborations that will bridge craniofacial development and disease investigations. New faculty will be provided with a competitive start-up package, ample laboratory space, and ready access to a large body of departmental shared instrumentation (see departmental website for more details: http://dentistry.umkc.edu/oralbio/index.shtml ). All faculty in our department are also engaged in teaching in our DDS or graduate programs.
A DDS/DMD, MD or Ph.D. is required and preference will be given to those candidates with Dental Specialty Training and/or post-doctoral fellowship training.
