Documents and evaluates current procedures used by Student Financial Services (SFS). Serves as technical liaison between SFS and Clemson Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), providing programming priority and reconciliations of error reports. Manages and evaluates technical systems, office software, and maintenance of Banner and TouchNet software systems.
SFS Banner and TouchNet: Assists in creating and maintaining Banner fee billing rules, detail codes for Cash & Treasury Services, SFS, and Financial Aid, and accounting codes in iRoar. Researches, tests, & corrects billing errors identified by users and/or by monitoring reports. Performs manual billing adjustments & loads fee exemptions as needed. Produces monthly statements in TouchNet and assists with 1098-T Statements. Maintain Banner & TouchNet security classes and user access. 40% - Essential
Production, Reporting and Analytics: Performs data production, delivery & reporting. Reduces daily manual reviews by implementing seamless electronic processes. Performs data collection for monitoring and analysis for SFS and other areas of the University. Develops and maintains processes for data collection and reporting. Assists in providing monthly & ad hoc reports to evaluate current account activity, payment status, & past due amounts, both in dollars & students for SFS staff. Works with others in defining, obtaining, & designing reports to meet business requirements. Develops metric reporting tools. 20% - Essential
System Documentation and Vendor Liaison: Completes & updates the documentation of SFS processes relating to Banner & TouchNet. Plans, writes & updates technology plans utilized by SFS. Monitors, evaluates, & communicates changes involved with TouchNet upgrades & patches. Coordinates & develops formalized written procedures for each process performed by SFS in a standardized format. 20% - Essential
Testing & Monitoring: Performs testing for accuracy of billing rates per budget document in Banner & performs testing for accuracy & functionality in TouchNet. Assist in testing SFS Banner & TouchNet processes during upgrades & patches. Verifies all tuition allocation & chart field strings. Reconciles our balancing reports between Banner, TouchNet, & our PeopleSoft general ledger. Identifies errors. Evaluates the source & implements corrective procedures. Audits data for accuracy. 20% - Essential
A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science or related field.
Work Exp. 3-5+ years work experience in accounting or automated information system design, development and maintenance.

Competitive Market Range: (Minimum: $52,700; Median: $58,900; Maximum: $67,300). The hiring salary is typically between the minimum and median of competitive range.
