Healthcare trade association located in Old Town Alexandria, VA is seeking a Member Relations Manager. The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASCA) represents Ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and provides advocacy and resources to assist ASCs in delivering high quality, cost-effective ambulatory surgery to all the patients they serve. The Manager position is responsible for the annual renewal process for facility members and affiliates. Core activities include data (entry) management, customer service, project management and providing administrative support to the membership department. Serve as a primary contact for member inquiries and services.
Develop renewal marketing strategy using various outreach methods and produce supporting collateral materials to reach strategic goals such as, e-mail messages, letters, postcards, social media, web content, etc.
Manage member and affiliate annual retention process which includes scheduling and administering multiple renewal invoice mailings, e-mail campaigns, post-renewal certificate mailings and coordinating Committee outreach efforts.
Manage data integrity of member records including the collection and updating of member contact information in the membership database.
Create and maintain relationships with current ASCA members and customers by executing customer service duties within a timely fashion including, but not limited to phone coverage, responding to email and written inquiries.
Work with Membership Director and accounting department to manage balance due and refund notifications. Maintain membership department inventory and order office supplies.
Assist with engagement activities developed to promote member value, encourage program participation and increase likelihood of new member renewals. Conduct surveys as needed on member programs and services.
Assist the Membership Director in the development of the membership budget and revenue projections.

Strong communication (written & oral) skills with the ability to edit and write, paying attention to spelling, punctuation and grammar
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Outlook along with social media and digital communications software

Experience with email marketing platforms
Recent experience in a healthcare organization is a plus
BA or BS degree preferred or minimum of 3 years in association membership.
Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, crouch, stoop and reach.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
