Senior HR Manager
Direct Hire in Pittsburgh, PA
Will direct all Human Resource (HR) functions within assigned region.
Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary.
Develops and manages the department budget, ensures compliance and addresses variances and other budget concerns.
Provides input to the development of HR programs to ensure alignment with short and long-term business plans
Supports the implementation of programs, policies and initiatives by providing direction and oversight to facility-based HR resources.
Ensures the timely and effective implementation of all HR service delivery functions.
Implements and validates HR programs, policies and initiatives aligned with short and long-term business plans
Acts as a liaison for and provides guidance/advice to HR members, and all staff on specific/complex issues.
Oversees and manages the planning, organization and implementation of all HR functions and
processes within an assigned geographic area.
Oversees and conducts training initiatives
Leads change initiatives to support the achievement of functional goals and organizational growth.
Provides strategic insight regarding workforce planning.
Oversees and participates in facility assessments and supports strategic planning solutions related to the workforce.
Oversees and participates in unit(s)/territory leadership talent assessments and succession planning activities.
Oversees & implements diversity and inclusion programs.
Oversees trend analysis to assess and quantify measurable results and outcomes that positively impacts HR metrics; communicates results to the appropriate personnel and develops action plans if needed.
Provides expert level consultation and support to business unit management and teammates regarding all HR services, policies, procedures, processes, and programs.
Ensures compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes.
Oversees and/or conducts investigations within the business unit(s)/territory; provides a thorough and accurate investigative report with appropriate recommendation(s) for corrective action.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and 10 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 12 years of relevant experience.
Span of control is organizational wide.
Minimum of three (3) years management experience preferred.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
