Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business and Management Department of Management and International Business invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor (or Instructor) of Strategic Management for the 2017-18 academic year. Candidates must possess at a minimum the MBA degree in management, strategic management, or related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution. The position will have primary teaching responsibilities in strategic management, strategy implementation and management consulting, as well as elective courses in an area of the candidate's special strength.
Applicants must show evidence of excellence in teaching at undergraduate, graduate and Executive MBA levels and a commitment to service for the department, school, and discipline. The teaching load is expected to be 8 courses for the year (4/4 load). A willingness and proven ability to teach undergraduate and MBA level courses at any of Loyola's three campuses is required. A willingness to contract to teach executive education courses is also desirable.
