The Danielsen Institute at Boston University has an opening for a 75% time two-year Senior Clinical Associate in psychotherapy, beginning September 1, 2016. The Danielsen Institute houses a licensed outpatient mental health clinic, clinical training programs (including an APA-accredited pre-doctoral psychology internship) in psychotherapy and psychiatry, and the Center for the Study of Religion and Psychology on the Charles River Campus of Boston University.
Applicants for the Senior Clinical Associate position must be licensed as a health service provider psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) or as a social worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts and demonstrate interest in and readiness for advanced training in spiritual, religious, theological, and existential approaches to clinical practice and training. Experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing is especially welcomed.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Associate will include eighteen hours per week of billable clinical care (assessment, psychotherapy, psychological testing), provision of clinical supervision to Institute trainees, clinic coverage, and participation in Institute training programs, including a weekly psychotherapy seminar and an APA-approved CEU-granting professional development seminar.
