PART TIME; PARTIAL YEAR CAREER This is a 60% time appointment with a two month unpaid furlough in the summer.
The full time starting salary range for this position is $9,171 - $10,962 per month for 10 months. Salary is proportionate to time worked.
At 60%, the starting salary range for this position is $5,502 - $6,577 per month for 10 months.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This position serves as Pharmacist for UCSC Student Health Services and is responsible for the proper dispensing of all drugs in all schedules. The pharmacist is responsible for compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy. The UCSC Pharmacy is supervised by the Ancillary Services Director who also serves as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
- Knowledge of pharmacy consultation/education guidelines and standards of practice
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to operate PC, often in a standing position, with or without accommodation
- Ability to work cooperatively with clinicians and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
