Purpose of Position:
The Department of Economics at Virginia Commonwealth University invites applications for two temporary non-tenure track positions for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Teaching needs include micro and macro principles, environmental economics, intermediate macroeconomics, economic development and economic growth. The teaching load will be 3 courses per semester. The successful applicant will be dedicated to quality teaching and have an interest in participating in a research environment. The department has a vibrant research faculty, a strong experimental group with lab facilities, a macro-labor group that collaborates with economists at nearby the Federal Reserve of Richmond and a collegial working environment.
All but dissertation (ABD) required, Ph.D. preferred.
