Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support for research in Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (HOPE) for The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Reports to the Program Director. Coordinates actions with existing research partners and assists in developing new research partners internally and externally. Arranges and coordinates advisory and working groups, planning sessions, and other project-related meetings. Prepares background materials, briefings, and monitors HOPE-related research activities of external stakeholders. Develops and implements research surveys and informed consent forms to research participants under the supervision of HOPE investigators. Prepares and keeps current a tracking database of current, completed, and potential HOPE research projects. Develops agendas, materials and presentations related to HOPE research. Researches new and potential government, corporate, and foundation supporters. Drafts and submits funding proposals and grant requests for research and other projects, including use of online grant systems. Ensures that Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements are met; maintains a tracking database of HOPE-related IRB approvals and HOPE collaborators' IRB training certificates. Prepares and monitors HOPE research budgets. Prepares and submits administrative documentation necessary for HOPE grants and contracts such as other support documents, just in time documents, statements of work, project timetables, and biosketches. Monitors progress with HOPE research projects to ensure that deliverables are timely and complete. Develops standard operating procedures for HOPE research grants and contracts, in coordination with the Director. Contributes to development of content for HOPE research presentations and publications and provides administrative support to ensure presentations and publications are timely and complete. Organizes in-person and virtual meetings with current and potential HOPE research partners. Works with HOPE research elective students, interns, and fellows to coordinate their timely completion of assignments by the Director. Procures travel, meeting room/space reservations, and supplies related to HOPE research projects, visiting scholars/guests, exhibits, and conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:Research management or administrative experience specific to health outcomes, health policy, and/or health economics.
Master's degree in a discipline relevant to the position.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat Writer, Access, and/or Visio.
Experience in submitting research to an IRB and/or prior IRB training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent communication skills and computer literacy in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Skills and motivation for effective partnering and/or maintaining collaborative relationships in successful initiatives.
