Schedule: Full Time
Oversees admission, discharges, throughput, care quality and most shift operational activities. Supervises nursing service activities in patient unit for the duration of one shift and/or in the absence of the manager. Provides professional nursing care for patients as needed. Assesses plans, evaluates, and documents the nursing process as needed. Responsible for ensuring patient care is delivered in accordance with quality standards on the shift. May be responsible for scheduling staff. Effectively recommends performance evaluations on staff to department manager. Has decision making authority for assigned shifts.
- BSN required – Must be enrolled in program within 90 days of accepting role. BSN program must be completed within 3 years.
- RN New Grads with a hire date on or after 9/1/2014 must have a BSN or be currently enrolled in a BSN bridge program. Completion of a BSN must occur within three years of hire date.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years related department experience
