Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
Three (3) years of responsible management and clinical supervision experience working in alternative dispute resolution or a closely related human services field to include:
Three (3) years experience providing clinical supervision to professional staff; and experience supervising support staff.
Three (3) years of increasing responsible court ordered and connected family mediation, assessment in children and families, and marriage and family counseling experience.
Two (2) years of experience conducting child custody evaluations as described in the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) Standards, or other similar evaluation process.
Equivalent to a master's degree (no substitution) with major coursework in psychology, counseling, child development, and alternative dispute resolution. Experience providing expert courtroom testimony including cross-examinations and recommendations.
Experience writing professional reports for the courts.
This position requires the candidate meet the minimum education, training and experience requirements for court connected domestic relations mediators as defined by Chief Justice Order #05-028.
Able to travel to various offices throughout Multnomah County in a timely manner.
Able to pass a thorough background investigation, including being fingerprinted on or before the first day of employment.

The ideal candidate will meet the OAR 309-032-1500 definition of Qualified Mental Health Professional and be licensed in Oregon. If licensed in a state other than Oregon, must meet qualifications for Oregon licensure within 6 months.
