340B Health has an immediate opening for a Social Media/Communications Manager at our growing non-profit health care trade association. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Communications. This position is central to the daily communications efforts of the organization and will take the lead on growing our social media impact.
This position has the following responsibilities:
Drive the association’s social media advocacy messaging and campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
Research and introduce new social and other new media tools and processes to the organization
Oversee website updates and identify needed improvements
Coordinate production of the association’s electronic newsletters and email broadcasts
Assist in communications planning, outreach, research and writing
Manage member online community and grow engagement
Gather and distribute daily news and relevant social media postings digest to staff
Provide support for association conferences and events
Work collaboratively with the Senior Manager of Marketing on developing marketing and communication strategies
340B Health is a membership organization of more than 1,300 public and private nonprofit hospitals and health systems in the federal 340B drug pricing program. We are the leading advocate and resource for those providers who serve their communities through participation in the 340B drug pricing program. The organization formed in 1993 to increase the affordability and accessibility of pharmaceuti...cal and clinical care for the nation's poor and underserved populations. 340B Health monitors, educates, and serves as an advocate on federal legislative and regulatory issues related to drug pricing and other pharmacy matters affecting safety-net providers. Our membership consists of a broad spectrum of hospitals, including academic medical centers, community hospitals, children's hospitals, and rural facilities.
