Posting Summary: The University of Virginia, College of Arts and Sciences, is seeking an enthusiastic Education and Outreach Specialist that will provides support to the Academic Program Manager for Curriculum Development and other appropriate College offices engaged in administering ongoing curricular innovation in the College.
The incumbent will develop, coordinate, and provide support for curricular educational assessment and evaluation in the College of Arts & Sciences. Works with the Academic Program Manager for Curriculum Development and the Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Education to ensure high-quality provision and success of assessment strategies and protocols, both across the College and within departments. Also contributes to the ongoing development of new curricular innovation in the College of Arts & Sciences.

The Education and Outreach Specialist also provides administrative support to the curricular design and development of educational, programming efforts and event planning.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of two years of relevant data analysis experience is required. Review of applications will begin after March 11, 2017. The position will remain open until filled.
This a restricted position as defined in UHR policy (http://uvapolicy.virginia.edu/policy/HRM-021) and is being created to complete a specific function or project within a defined period of time. The anticipated end date is May 26, 2019 with the possibility for extension contingent on the availability of funding and ongoing need.
