Assist APAC Research COO with managing and implementing business procedures and ensuring compliance with GBAM policies eg Global & Asia Expense Management policy
Lead business periodic reviews on regional Research access to offices, share drives etc and determine the appropriateness of the access.
Review, approve and manage expenses for APAC Research department, including reviewing pre-approval requests for clients that are classified to be Government related.
Assist APAC Research COO to manage Research vendors.
Assist APAC Research COO with the management of APAC Administrative team.
Lead, coordinate and work closely with regional and global Research COO teams on Global Research strategy projects, new technology platforms and product development.
Assist APAC Research COO as a point of contact for all business issues for APAC Research team matters, that includes but not limited to managing, developing and overseeing business processes and reviews for APAC Research as part of the Research COO organization.
Identify areas of potential operational and business risks in all Research business activities across all entities and branches in the country and establish mitigations
Ensure regional consistency in processes and procedures with global standards. Research operates as a global business.
Assist Research COO and Management with the management of audit and regulatory inspections and the self-identification and/or subsequent remediation of audit and regulatory issues
Partner closely with senior management, compliance, risk and other control partners regionally and globally, to develop strategies, tools and reporting capabilities to strengthen current processes associated with supervision and controls
Work with Compliance and Legal, as appropriate to update policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory rules
Ability to influence across the organization to drive efficiencies and improved supervisory and control framework
Deep understanding of the business units products, services and processes supporting APAC Research
Extensive industry experience
Have understanding on APAC regulations and BofAML risk framework & appetite would be an advantage
Strong analytical, communication and management skills
