- MD, PhD, or equivalent, with training or expertise in clinical research and systematic review
- Proven excellence leading systematic reviews or equivalent research
- Advanced training in clinical research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or statistics
- Strong quantitative skills
- Advanced statistical programing skills; knowledge of R or Stata is a plus
- Prior experience with AHRQ’s Effective Healthcare EPC program or equivalent is a plus

Candidates who wish to be considered for Assistant Professor (Research) should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted through Interfolio. Applicants for the Assistant Professor Rank should exhibit a potential to become top caliber researchers. They should demonstrate autonomy in developing their own research agenda and the potential to obtain competitive funding. Multiple first or senior authored publications in high impact journals will be viewed favorably.
Candidates who wish to be considered for Associate Professor (Research) should submit a list of five prospective referees. Applicants for the Associate Professor level must also have a national and international reputation in health services research, an independently funded program of research, and a proven track record of leadership in research, teaching and professional service.
Review of applications will begin on April 1, 2017. Applications received after the priority deadline may be reviewed until the position is filled or the search is closed.
