The Department of English at Knox College invites applications for a full time one-year appointment beginning September 2017 for a Visiting Assistant Professor in early modern literature with a strong interest in Shakespeare. Secondary fields (including but not limited to: early American, queer theory, multiethnic literatures, and/or film studies) are desirable. PhD must be in hand or near completion. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses to a diverse student body in a lively department of scholars and writers.
