Bachelor’s degree and two years of progressively responsible professional human resources management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
In depth knowledge and understanding of Employee Benefits Administration, including: Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, AD & D, STD, LTD, FSA Plans.
Knowledge and familiarity with FMLA, ACA, HIPPA and retirement plan knowledge is a plus.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
Good accounting skills, including benefit premium calculation and ability to perform complex multi-step mathematical calculations.
Ability to comprehend and interpret complex workplace documents, including legal documents.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills, including experience answering employee benefit questions by phone, mail or in person.
High degree of accuracy and attention to details and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
