DUTIES:Interview and verify demographic and financial information with the patient and/or family member in order to input information into the Eagle Database System.Distribute information relating to patient's rights and the HIPAA privacy law. Obtain patient's signatures on all necessary forms authorizing consent and acknowledge receipt. Verify insurance eligibility in various systems.Assemble patient charts and file all relevant documents in patient record.Input data information in appropriate logbooks.Input charges in ORSOS & TAO.Reconcile all patient charts.Assist patients or family members with inquiries.Admit patients utilizing Navicare and/or the Eagle System.(DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION)QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: Excellent communication skills. Computer Literacy. PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree with one year of hospital based experience.
