Utica College, a small comprehensive college in Upstate New York, is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions - Operations & Technology to oversee the enrollment operations functions of the college and will report to the Executive Director of Admissions. The Associate Director will ensure the effective operations of the enrollment operations unit.
The incumbent will have a special focus on utilizing and maintaining cutting edge technologies in recruitment including the CRM, Texting Platform, Imaging, Workflow, Student Information Systems, Calling systems and survey platforms among others.

Primary responsibilities include:
Maintaining Hobson’s Radius CRM; Assist with NOLIJ Transfer for recruiting and application efforts; Implements and sustains an effective Inquiry and Applicant workflow utilizing NOLIJ/Perceptive Data Transfer and Banner to support enrollment at the college; Develops reports using CRM and Argos; Analyzes data utilizing enrollment operations systems and technology to enhance best practices in recruitment and admissions; Supports the student search efforts; Assists in the setup of effective, efficient and segmented communications; Responsible for records management; Attends Enrollment & Recruitment events as needed and/or required; Stays abreast of new Admissions Banner and other related systems in terms of upgrades and innovations; Trains admissions staff on Banner; Serves as a liaison between IITS and Enrollment Operations; Provides Banner support for undergraduate, graduate and international admissions offices; Serves as a liaison to critical college offices regarding enrollment information; Oversees Admission Mail Sequence and serves as the liaison to PJ Green Mailhouse and other vendors as needed; Creates an operation manual for all processes within Operations; Serves as the liaison between UC – Wiley and Orbis in terms of application generation and record retrieval; Takes an active role in the development of the department’s strategic and operational plans as required by department leadership; Works closely with department supervisor to develop and implement operational goals that support departmental success; Responsible for working with supervisor and other team members to achieve successful results on all established individual and departmental goals and key performance indicators; Supervises Enrollment Operations staff of three (3) Coordinators of Enrollment Operations and (2) Student Record Coordinators, Work-Study students and part-time seasonal help as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred; 5 to 7 years of experience in college admissions or student services with management/leadership experience strongly preferred; Experience with databases in higher education and emerging technologies. Must possess strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail; Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with various constituencies; Must have ability to read and comprehend the English language sufficiently to be able to read and understand various forms, documentation, applications, files and information in the department; Must have ability to be confidential; Must have leadership abilities; Proficiency with PL/SQL, SQR, Nolij/Perceptive Data Transfer, Argos, Banner, Hobsons Radius CRM or other related products pertaining to the recruitment, admission and enrollment of students; Working knowledge of Ellucian Banner preferred; Ability to receive telephone calls and respond to inquiries; Ability to work evenings, weekends as required; Must be able to work flexible hours if necessary.
